First week back at University & EXCITING NEWS!

This week was my first week back at University, it was a lot better than I expected and I got up to a lot outside of class as well!

After my first day of university, I met up with my boyfriend for dinner.

We went to a little place on Degraves St (for those of you who aren't from Melbourne, it's one of those places located in our famous alleyways) It's a really nice, cosy place with friendly staff. The waitress there loved my shoes!

The food was yummy! I had carbonara and my boyfriend had a lasagna.

We finished off the night with some tea and a really delicious hot chocolate at San Churro.

On Tuesday night I FINALLY saw the final Harry Potter movie with some friends. Despite some of my friends' opinion, I enjoyed it! I'm really sad that it's all over now. I'm proud to say that I was a part of the Harry Potter generation.

The rest of the week was filled with yummy food, catching up with uni friends and quality time with my boyfriend.

 I think he's handsome.

And now the BIG NEWS......

As all of you have figured out by now, I fucking LOVE tea. Well destiny called on Wednesday, I received a phone call to arrange a job interview for T2! I'm really nervous but also excited! Let's hope I get the job, my interview is on Tuesday!

That's all for now guys, I've got a really good feeling about this semester of uni. Wish me luck, guys!

Oestrogen Day with Creme Brulee.

I've been a bit lazy with my blogging lately but I've been a bit busy.
Anyway earlier this week my girlfriend, Katrina came over my house so we could have a REALLY girly day filled with things that gets our oestrogen raging. xD

We made Creme Brulee!

Kat is an aspiring pastry chef, so she did all the work. Look at her go!

She brought over these adorable little ramekins to use as well.

Here's our custard, all ready to go in the oven.

After the oven!

And finally... The best part, the caramelised sugar on top! It made the lovely *tap* *tap* noise, creme brulee is supposed to make and it was DELICIOUS.

We spent the rest of the day watching movies like Easy A & Ninja Assassin whilst munching on snacks, drinking tea and painting our nails.

The following friday I went to my friend's birthday party, he combined his with a girl named Kim, she turned out to be REALLY fun and outgoing....and also passing out by the end of the night. xD

It was a fun night, with some friends, bbq and drinks.

That's all for now, I'm starting uni again tomorrow!
Prayers and thoughts are with Norway.

My Brand New Toy: HAPPYBOY

I took a picture of myself with it too!
(Didn't do my makeup or hair so I look tired)

My Acer Aspire One Happy notebook arrived on Monday! It's cute, compact, perfect for my second semester of uni. I named it HAPPYBOY but surprisingly it's pink!

It's pink because they ran out of purple and I thought "hey! why not girly it up, get my barbie on?"

I'll probably decorate it somehow that you won't even be able to tell it's pink anymore but for now it's this fresh pink colour. Thank you to my boyfriend, who helped me install Ubuntu 11.04 on it as well. :)

That's all! Tomorrow's blog will be about my OESTROGEN-FILLED day with Katrina so stay tuned!

Just Moar Food & Drink

On friday I celebrated my good friend, Katrina's birthday at Match Bar. It was a really great night filled with drinks, delicious food and good company. Here are some of the drinks we had.

This HUMONGOUS drink is called Nicola Six, I was charmed by the bartenders to get the bigger size.

We also had some pink wine bought by our friend Evan.

AND THIS IS CALLED A ZOMBIE. It's usually served  in these tiki cups and are SO FUCKING STRONG. They've got about 5 different rums in them and a bunch of other stuff, they're so strong you're limited to two a person.

That's just the drinks we had...for more details visit Katrina's blog HERE. It's also got a lot of delicious recipes.

Other than drinks, I've had a lot of cake recently.

This is a green tea & red bean cake that I had at a dessert place in Box Hill. It was quite disappointing but the dessert place seemed very popular, I was there at 11:30pm and the placed was PACKED!

On the bright side, my sister made an amazing chocolate cake for our Aunt's birthday this weekend. I had a GIANT piece of it. So much for losing weight. D:

That's all for now, there'll be a new blog tomorrow as well. Also don't forget to vote for me HERE by liking the photo and commenting on it would be great too! We made it to over 100 votes! THANK YOU!!

High Tea & Bowling

So this is what I wore today. The reason i'm wearing a dress today is because I went to High Tea today at Image Super Store. It was an AA event and there was a prize for best dressed.

Sadly Melbourne weather lived up to its reputation today and we had one of our sunshine on a rainy day kind of days. I was lucky though, I managed to be indoors or under cover every time there was a heavy rain.

High tea was okay.... I think my expectations were a bit high but I was  able to have a nice chat with friends over some tea and scones.

These are my friends Katrina & CK, they're a lovely couple and I spent most of my day with these two.

CK also won best dressed at high tea and won this ADORABLE camera USB! I wish I won, that camera is  just SO cute. Any miniature version of anything is cute!

After some pool & dinner with Kat & CK, my boyfriend and I went to play a game of bowling!

I played terribly tonight! My boyfriend kicked my ass in both games!!

I swear I normally get at least 100 points!!

Anyway that's all for now, i'll definitely be posting up a contact lens review for 3 different pairs by this Tuesday or Wednesday.

Bacon Strip, Bacon Strip, Bacon Strip.

Despite having a tiring day of work today, it's been a pretty good few days for me food-wise.

Yesterday my boyfriend made some candy bacon! Just like in Epic Meal Time!  IT WAS DELICIOUS OF COURSE! Just look at that crispy bacon.

I also made a ridonkulous batch of pancakes, they were the thickest and fluffiest I've ever made.

Finally my boyfriend and I went to a japanese restaurant we often go to for a spot of tea and some sushi.

We sat at the bar area drinking green tea and watched them prepare an assortment of sushi for us. The sushi chef was very skilled and turned out to be quite friendly. He answered our questions as to what kind of fish we had eaten and I spoke a little korean to him. Overall it was a very pleasant night.
That's all for now, stay tuned for my next blog which will be a contact lenses review.

Chunky Blog, Chunky Shoes.

Here is what I wore today, I'm wearing my boyfriend's tank top today.

I also wore my new shoes today to break them in! I love them and they are heaps comfier than I expected!

Anyway today I went out to kind of tutor a friend of mine in Japanese, he's planning on teaching English there and so he'd like to have at least a basic knowledge in Japanese before he goes. He's a quick learner and very very enthusiastic so I think he'll make heaps of progress very fast.

Of course we had lunch first! Who can study on an empty stomach?!

I ended up teaching him at Starbucks, which was good 'cos I could have my daily dose of tea! He's a very good and keen student.

We also did a light bit of shopping today, we checked out Tokuya (とくや) on Bourke Street.

I bought myself a little travel case for my contact lenses.

I also finally bought a coloured eyebrow pencil and i'll do a quick review of it tomorrow. It's Palty and it's a very Gyaru brand so i'm hoping it'll have a good result.

I received 2 parcels in the mail today! As I've mentioned before I LOVVEE to get parcels in the mail!

The first parcel was a huge order of contact lenses for me and my friends.

I got two pairs...One of them was Geo Princess Mimi Green.

The second pair will be a surprise as I'll be wearing them for my Ma Couleurs submission!

The second parcel was a pair of false lashes I ordered on eBay.

They're very dolly like, which is what i wanted and considering the VERY cheap price i'm satisfied with the quality of them. Here's a picture of me wearing them, I'm also wearing the Princess Mimi lenses in the photo too.

Without flash

Left eye: with lashes - Right eye: without lashes

Anyway that's all for now! Expect a BUNCH of product reviews in the next few blogs. :)
